Scenic drive from Montone to Perugia — approximately 45 minutes (40 km). Travel through rolling Umbrian hills and olive groves as you approach the vibrant capital of Umbria.

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM - Explore Perugia

Park at Parcheggio Borgo XX Giugno (convenient to the historic center) and ride the mini-metro or walk up to the heart of Perugia. Stroll Corso Vannucci, visit Piazza IV Novembre and admire the stunning Fontana Maggiore and Palazzo dei Priori.

11:15 AM – 12:30 PM - Perugia Chocolate Museum

2:15 PM - Depart for Deruta

Short 30-minute drive (23 km) south to Deruta, the world-renowned ceramics capital of Italy.

2:45 PM – 4:15 PM - Discover Deruta

Wander through Deruta’s charming streets lined with ceramic shops and artisan studios. Visit a local workshop to see master potters at work and enjoy time to shop for hand-painted Italian ceramics.

4:15 PM - Depart for Montone

Relax and enjoy the scenic drive back to Fortebraccio through the Umbrian countryside.
